Querubin hails security guards as ‘real heroes’ in Cavite visit

IMUS, CAVITE—Independent senatorial candidate Ariel Querubin met with security guards at a security agency in Imus, Cavite, on March 6 to engage in a dialogue, pledging to represent them in the Senate.

Querubin, a Medal of Valor awardee and retired Marine officer, praised security personnel for their hard work and dedication.

“[Sabi ng iba,] Sir, isa kayong buhay na bayani. Ang sagot ko, lahat tayo bayani. Lalong-lalo na kayo,” he told the guards.

Querubin emphasized that they, like many Filipinos, bear the weight of the country’s challenges.

“Parehas lang din tayo naapektuhan ng lahat ng problema ng bayan. Kayo ang tunay na bayani,” Querubin said.

Querubin reaffirmed his lifelong commitment to service.

“At yung Ariel Querubin, ipapagmalaki ko pa rin na kahit ilang beses tayo muntik mamatay [o] mamatay man tayo, gagawin, uulit-ulitin ko yan. Para sa inyo, para sa taumbayan, para sa bayaning tunay,” Querubin stated.

During the visit, Querubin joined the security guards in a friendly push-up challenge.

His Senate bid continues to gain support, with recent endorsements from Senator JV Ejercito, Senator Grace Poe, retired Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio, and the Duterte Youth, who cited his unmatched service and integrity.
