PASAY CITY—Independent senatorial candidate Ariel Querubin paid his respects today at the wake of Major Jude Salang-Oy and First Lieutenant April John Dadulla, the two Philippine Air Force pilots who died when their FA-50 fighter jet crashed in Bukidnon province.
Querubin, a retired Marine officer and Medal of Valor awardee, offered condolences to the grieving families and shared the emotional moments he had with them.

Nakakalungkot,” he said.

Having witnessed the loss of many troops throughout his military career, Querubin emphasized the difficulties faced by families of fallen soldiers and called for greater support for them.
