Querubin to voters: Do not sell your votes

TAGUIG CITY—Independent senatorial candidate Ariel Querubin spoke before 1,000 Guardians calling for clean elections and urging voters to reject vote selling.

Querubin signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Unyon ng mga Gabay ng Bayan (UGB) to promote good governance and fight election-related corruption at the UGB Party-list Proclamation Assembly on March 8.

“Sana naman huwag tayo padadala dito at huwag tayong magbebenta ng boto natin,” Querubin said.

Querubin, a retired Marines officer and a Medal of Valor awardee, also stressed the importance of principled choices.

“Bumoto kayo sa kung ayon sa konsensya ninyo. Yan ang pinakaimportante. Huwag na huwag nating ipapalit yung boto natin sa pera,” Querubin stated.

“Ang kandidatong bibili ng boto, sigurado babawiin din ang pera sa pangungurakot. Tayo ang kawawa,” Querubin added.
