Querubin to voters: support and fight for candidates who genuinely serve

DASMARIÑAS CITY, CAVITE—Independent senatorial candidate Ariel Querubin called on voters to support candidates who have shown genuine care and commitment to the public.

In a statement, Mayor Jenny Austria-Barzaga invited Querubin to speak at the flag-raising ceremony at Dasmariñas City Hall on Monday. Querubin urged Filipinos to be discerning and to choose leaders who have shown dedication.

“Mamili tayo ng susuportahan at ipaglalaban na mga kandidato. Mamili tayo ng mga kandidato na nagpakita ng talagang tunay na pagmamahal sa bayan at tunay na malasakit sa taumbayan,” Querubin said.

Querubin, a retired Marines officer and Medal of Valor awardee, warned voters against politicians who speak well during campaigns but fail to deliver on their promises.

“Marami hong haharap sa inyo, ganyan ang palaging sinasabi. Pero sabi nga ho nila, yung lip service ba,” he added.
