November 12—Senatorial candidate Ariel Querubin, the most decorated soldier in Philippine history and a Medal of Valor recipient, has provided critical support for areas in the Bicol Region affected by recent typhoons and flooding.

Querubin delivered 10,000 canned goods and 600 sacks of rice to Former Vice President Leni Robredo to aid in the relief efforts led by the Angat Buhay Foundation. These supplies are intended to assist families in Bicol as they face the challenges of recovery after the floods.

Ariel Querubin’s team in Bicol distributed relief to the hardest-hit towns, including San Fernando, Del Gallego, Gainza, Milaor, Canaman, Bombon, Minalabac, Pasacao, Calabanga, and Camaligan in Camarines Sur, as well as priority communities in Albay and Sorsogon provinces.

Querubin also expressed his admiration for the courage and heroism shown by Leni, Angat Buhay volunteers, and Bicolanos.

“The heroism shown by FVP Leni, Angat Buhay volunteers, and the Bicolano community during the typhoon is truly inspiring,” Querubin said. “I am grateful to be able to support their efforts.”

Querubin has also called on other candidates to extend assistance to various areas affected by recent typhoons.

“It is our duty to support families affected by the recent floods, not just with words, but with action,” Querubin adds.

As Querubin continues his senatorial campaign, he emphasizes his commitment to disaster preparedness and response, especially in regions vulnerable to natural calamities.
